Trunk-or-Treat in the UUCG parking lot

Event from 6:00 – 8:00pm
set-up begins at 5:30pm

What is Trunk-or-Treat, you ask? It’s a Halloween event during which costumed children wend their way around the parking lot visiting cars with decorated trunks and collecting candy or small “treats”.  It provides families with an alternative (or addition) to door-to-door trick or treating.

Trunk-or-Treat is a great way for UUCG families from around the county to celebrate Halloween together, and it also serves as outreach to the local community, as all are invited to participate. We have new neighbors across the road, and the event is promoted on our roadside billboard. We are hoping for a great turnout, and YOU are invited to be a part of it!

All UUCG friends and members are invited to decorate your trunk and come take part in greeting the children and handing out treats.  (Please let us know here if you plan to offer a trunk so we can plan for activities and space.) If you are in leadership at UUCG, we encourage you to get together with your Team or Committee and create a Trunk themed to your group’s mission – or just something fun!  (If you want help coming up with a theme or ideas, feel free to ask Christiana! She is happy to support you in any way she can.)

In addition to Trunks, there will be games, prizes, and all manner of assorted fun.  Mark your calendar and plan to join us!
