When We Listen to Our Bodies

More and more, science and psychology are joining longstanding spiritual traditions in giving credit to the wisdom we all carry in our bodies. In this multigenerational service we learn to listen deeply to what our bodies want us to know about how we need to live and care for ourselves and others. Through stories, music, great words on “what it takes to heal,” and a few gentle practices of yoga-in-a-chair, this service invites us all into a deeper conversation.
We also celebrate the official expansion of one of our beloved families – a wonderful example of listening deeply to inner wisdom to know how we want to live!

Faith Formation Hour at 12:30pm

Sunday Tarot
in person at UUCG

Explore the monthly theme of UUCG using the imagery of the Tarot.
Meditation, discussion, and a personal or group spread highlighting the theme.

This workshop gathering takes place after the Sunday Service.  Please feel free to bring and enjoy your lunch while we learn and explore the cards together.

Mindfulness and Meditation at 6:00pm
Two Hands Sangha is a Buddhist Meditation Community which meets to train the heart and mind to respond to life with mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion. Join us each week as we connect to explore the ways in which these teachings can be applied to your daily life to help alleviate suffering of all kinds. All are welcome, regardless of your level of experience.
