Compassion and Democracy: Grounding ourselves in Who We Are – Worship and Conversation

Join us in person or via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/565460176

Public events in the last few weeks have left many of us feeling that the dream of democracy may be fragile and uncertain. Yet democracy and compassion, with their values on the inherent worthiness and dignity of every person, lie at the core of who we are as Unitarian Universalists.
Today, in a shorter service, we remind ourselves of how we can live out these values, even under stress. Then we open a space for conversation where all our feelings in response to current events are honored, and we find our way to the actions we each can take.

The conversation, available in person and online, begins at about 11:35 or 11:40, and will conclude by 12:25 so after-worship activities can be enjoyed!
