As spring breathes new life into our surroundings, marking a season of growth and renewal, it’s once again time for one of our most anticipated events of the year – the Annual Auction, on April 27th from 3 PM to 7 PM. This vibrant occasion is not just a testament to our community’s spirit and generosity but also the cornerstone of our financial planning, playing a crucial role in sustaining our beloved congregation.

Year after year, your generous donations and support have been the lifeline that enables us to continue our mission and serve our community in numerous ways. Whether it’s through our various programs, service in our community, or rituals and events, it is your generosity that turns these possibilities into realities.

As we approach this year’s auction, we kindly remind you that the “Our House in Full Bloom Auction” is our congregation’s principal fundraiser, significantly impacting our budget and the initiatives we can undertake in the coming year. The success of this event directly correlates with our ability to maintain and expand our offerings, ensuring that we continue to be a beacon of hope, faith, and community.

We invite each and every one of you to participate in this year’s auction. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a profound difference. In light of our dual auction model, using Daisy Dollars for the live bidding, and cash/credit card for silent bidding, we encourage you to consider the total that you are prepared to give, and offer that full amount at the door. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the strength and compassion of our community, showing that when we come together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.

For those wishing to assist with the auction on the day of, please contact the auction team at auction@uucg by April 21st, we are looking for volunteers to assist with food preparation, and cleaning up afterwards. Your generous contributions of  time and effort will undoubtedly make the event even more special.
