This Sunday, youth are encouraged to attend the Social Justice program, featuring guest speaker Grace Hawkins of the Atanta Transit Angels. There will be no stand-alone Youth Group meeting.
The Youth Group is open to teens age 12 – 17. Our Youth take part in mentor-guided, Youth-led Religious Exploration discussions for teens, focused on how and why they choose to live their Unitarian Universalist values out in the world. They engage in activities, service projects, and special events of their own choosing, with the guidance of their adult advisor team. The Youth Group meets once a month on Third Sundays in the Treehouse room, during potluck lunch after the Worship Service, from 12:30 – 2:30pm.
Stay tuned in by visiting their web page and checking the Youth Bulletin Board regularly. Dates and times of events and meetings are posted there, as well as flyers and permission forms for upcoming events.
