Celebrate Midsummer with Sylvan Sanctuary, our Druid Grove.

Sylvan Sanctuary invites you to come and participate in its Summer Solstice ritual on June 25 at 6:00pm.

Here are some things that you may find helpful to know in preparing.

  • The ritual begins at 6 PM, so arriving early helps in greeting and seating everyone.
  • If we meet indoors, masks will be required, but if outdoors they will be optional.
  • Everyone is invited to put a clear jar of water out in the sun all day on June 21 with the intention of asking the Solstice Sun to charge the water with all of its helping energies. Bring this jar of water with you for our water offering and blessing.
    (BTW, the solstice actually begins at 5:13 AM on June 21, so if you want to put the jar out the night before it’s there for the very beginning of the solstice.)
  • We enjoy food and fellowship after the ritual.  Because we are still observing COVID precautions, we cannot have a pot luck, but we invite everyone to pack a meal that does not need refrigeration or cooking and we will enjoy visiting while we eat.
  • Ritual attire is not required but is always welcome. Be mindful of the weather on that day in case we are outside.
