Join us on Sunday, July 1, at 12:30, after the worship service, to hear the story of Karim Ahmed, a former high-ranking Iraqi Air Force pilot, whose family lived a quiet and secure life until they didn’t.  He’ll tell us what it’s like to lose family members, home, and livelihood; and what it means to become a refugee.

Karim’s wife Najah is written about in Pat Holt’s forthcoming book Refugee Rescue:  The Backyard Humanity Movement and Peace of Thread.  Karim’s story is yet to be written.

Hope to see all of you there for this timely story.

Light refreshments will be served.
