Janet Hazzard will be leading a workshop on how to make yarn from plastic bags. This is being offered as an auction item, but you don’t need to have purchased it at the auction
Parn Workshop – Up to 8 participants ages 14+
Have you ever wondered what to do with all the plastic bags from grocery and retail stores? Do you have a basic knowledge of Crochet? If you answered yet to both of those questions, this workshop is for you. I will show you how to turn your clean and intact plastic bags into plarn (plastic yarn) with which you can crochet any number of items.
I’ll have samples of my work and some easy patterns for everyday items for you to work from.
Please bring your saved bags, a sharp pair of scissors and a size J or larger crochet hook. I’ll have extras of everything on hand just in case. I look forward to seeing you there!
