Topic: Being In (and With) the World
We will be continuing our exploration of concepts introduced in The Spell of the Sensuous by David Abram.
Written as a means of providing conceptual tools for environmental activism, The Spell of the Sensuous explores our estrangement from the more than human world. Using examples from multiple cultures, it takes us on a lyrical and evocative journey where we see how the character of our perception and means of communication affects our experiential engagement and reciprocity with the world around us.

Belief Explorers is a group of curious people interested in the wide variety of spirituality and beliefs. We meet from 12:30 – 1:30PM on the 2nd Sunday of each month, both online via Zoom and in-person. Each month we explore a book, religion, person, or concept chosen at the previous meeting. Meetings are open to all UUCG members, friends, and visitors.
